Summary of Terms & Conditions for Hypnotherapy Supervision with John Lowson (March 2025)

This supervision agreement sets out the purpose, structure, and expectations of the professional relationship between John Lowson (Supervisor) and the supervisee. It provides a supportive and confidential space for reflection, development, and guidance to help hypnotherapists deliver safe, ethical, and effective client care. Supervision can take place individually or in groups, either face-to-face or online.

Supervision Options Available:

  • Tier 1 (£35/month): Unlimited group supervision sessions, urgent case support (up to 30 mins), and ongoing phone support. Includes written reports for professional memberships or supervisor training.
  • Tier 2 (£60/month): As above, plus one-to-one supervision (up to 60 mins as required), and discounts on business or marketing mentoring.
  • Ad Hoc (£80 per session): One-off group or one-to-one sessions with up to 30 minutes follow-up phone support over a month.
    Supervisee Responsibilities:
  1. Attend supervision regularly, meeting at least the minimum annual requirements set by their professional body (e.g., NCH, APHP, AfSFH).
  2. Book group sessions in advance and take responsibility for maintaining attendance records.
  3. Be prepared for each session by reflecting on what they wish to discuss or achieve.
  4. Engage professionally and ethically at all times, including in any peer discussions.
  5. Ensure any supervision they receive meets the standards and requirements of their own professional association.
  6. Refrain from offering or acting on advice outside of formal supervision sessions, as this may fall outside insurance coverage or GDPR compliance.
  7. Understand that any peer contact outside Halifax Hypnotherapy Clinic-facilitated sessions is undertaken at their own risk and not the responsibility of HHC.
